The rules of Camping Chauchamps

INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM TO DO WHATEVER DOES NOT HARM OTHERS AND ENDING WHERE OTHERS' FREEDOM BEGINS

We kindly ask you to respect these rules.
Anyone who does not respect these rules will be asked to leave the Chauchamps campsite without warning.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Upon arrival, our Camper friends must report to the reception.
It is formally forbidden to set up without having received the agreement and fulfilled the usual formalities.

POLICE FORMALITIES

Anyone wishing to stay at the Chauchamps campsite must first present their identity papers to the receptionist and complete the formalities required by law.

INSTALLATION

The tent or caravan, equipment and people must be installed on the pitch indicated by the person in charge of Camping Chauchamps

RECEPTION DESK

During the high season of July and August, the reception office is open from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm and from 2 pm to 7.30 pm for all routine enquiries (on call for emergencies).
At the reception desk you will find all the information about the services offered by the Chauchamps campsite, practical and tourist information about the region and various addresses that may prove useful.
On the day of your arrival, you will be given a camping magazine "CAMPIMAG" in which you will find a lot of information.

FEES

The fees are paid at the reception desk, the amount is fixed according to the tariff displayed at the entrance of the Chauchamps campsite. Our Camper friends are invited to inform us of their departure the day before.

NOISE POLLUTION

Users of the Chauchamps campsite are requested to avoid all noise and discussions that might disturb their neighbours. Sound equipment (transistors, car radios, televisions etc.) must be adjusted accordingly.  From 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. the utmost silence is requested so as not to disturb the rest of the residents.

VISITORS

Visitors will be admitted to the Chauchamps campsite from 11.00 to 22.30 under the responsibility of their hosts after compulsory declaration at the reception desk on arrival.
Failure to comply with this rule will result in immediate expulsion.
CHARGES: displayed on the price list, these charges do not give access to the pool. Visitors' vehicles must be parked in the car park, no vehicles will be accepted on the pitches.

TRAFFIC AND PARKING

Inside the Camping Chauchamps, vehicles must drive at a MAXIMUM speed of 10 km/h.
Traffic is forbidden between 23H and 7H30, closing time of the campsite.
Only vehicles belonging to residents may circulate in the camp. Parking is strictly forbidden on free pitches and must never hinder free movement or prevent the arrival of new campers.
Outside the opening of the gate, campers must leave their vehicles in the night parking area.
THE NIGHT PARKING MUST BE RELEASED BEFORE 10.30 am.

MAINTENANCE OF THE FACILITIES

Everyone is obliged to refrain from any action that could be detrimental to decorum, cleanliness, hygiene and the appearance of the campsite.
It is forbidden to throw polluted water on the ground.
The deposit of rubbish and waste is strictly regulated, please follow the instructions given to you at the reception.
Washing must be done in the specific bins (no dishes or shells in the washing bins).

RESERVATION OF GREEN SPACE

Laundry hanging is tolerated as long as it is discreet and does not disturb the neighbours.
The plantations and floral decorations are there for your pleasure. PLEASE RESPECT THEM.
Campers are not allowed to put nails in trees or cut branches.
Any damage to the vegetation, fences or facilities of the campsite will be charged to the person responsible.

FIRE AND SAFETY

Open fires are strictly forbidden, stoves must be kept in perfect working order.
It is ESSENTIAL for each camper to know the fire safety instructions, these instructions are posted in each sanitary block, at the reception and at the entrance to the swimming pool.
In the event of a fire IMMEDIATELY NOTIFY THE MANAGEMENT.
A first aid kit is available at the reception desk.
Theft: Campers are asked to take the usual precautions to protect their equipment.
Report immediately to the management any suspicious person in the campsite or even in its immediate vicinity.

GAMES AND POOL

Children play under the exclusive supervision and responsibility of their parents or guardians, who must ensure that children do not play in the toilets.
No violent games or the use of bicycles are allowed in the vicinity of the facilities.
The meeting room may not be used for lively games without specific supervision.

A SET OF RULES SPECIFIC TO THE POOL IS POSTED AT THE ENTRANCE. PLEASE READ AND EXPLAIN THEM TO THE YOUNG
CHILDREN. THE SAFETY AND HYGIENE OF YOU ALL DEPENDS ON IT.

ANIMALS

Dogs (allowed by French law) and other animals must never be left at large. They must never be left on the campsite, even locked up, in the absence of their owners who are civilly responsible for them. Their "walks" must take place outside the campsite.

TATTOOING AND ANTI-RABIES VACCINATION CERTIFICATE ARE MANDATORY.

Pets are welcome at our campsite for FREE, which is an exception in the area.

TELEPHONE- MAIL

Telephone messages will be taken during office hours, except for urgent messages which will be delivered directly to the person concerned, which will be posted in the office.
Mail is in the office from approximately 1pm onwards, please pick it up.

DEAD GARAGE

Unoccupied equipment may only be left on the pitch with the agreement of the Management and only in the location indicated.

CAMP LEADER

He is responsible for the order and good order of the Camp, and has the duty to sanction serious breaches of the present rules and if necessary to expel their authors.
A special box for your ideas or complaints is at your disposal at the reception (green box). These will only be taken into consideration if they are identifiable, signed and dated.

A guestbook is also available at the reception desk for all your comments.
